COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

WHAT IS AT SKAKE?
The EU’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050 will require a major transformation in high-carbon sectors. However, there is uncertainty regarding the main drivers and implications of this industrial transition. Currently, there are multiple modelling and decision-making tools that exist independently without integration or coherence between their results.
The AMIGDALA project aims to assist policy makers and industries by defining and evaluating integrated pathways and market adoption of circular, climate-neutral, and competitive industries.
It is crucial to ensure the developed models will answer final stakeholder’s needs and expectations.
HOW IS THE COP ANSWERING IT?
To meet stakeholder’s needs and expectations, a Community of Practice – or COP, has been launched.
The COP gathers high value-added audiences to give you the opportunity to provide your owned specific view on the project:
The COP is called upon on a voluntary basis at key milestones of the project. It aims to ensure that the results of the project meet your needs and allow you to answer this question:
What decarbonisation pathways and strategic choices are available to my sector to meet the European Green Deal targets?
1. Collaborate with Leading Experts: Engage with top researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers in the field of carbon-intensive industries to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions.
2. Network and Partnership Opportunities: Connect with like-minded clusters and organizations across Europe to forge valuable partnerships, explore collaborative projects, and amplify the impact of your initiatives.
3. Influence Policy and Decision-Making: Participate in discussions, workshops, and advocacy efforts to shape policies and regulations that promote sustainability and drive the transition to a low-carbon economy in Europe.
Commitments
The members of the COP will be asked to provide inputs and feedbacks on voluntary basis at key moments over the course of the AMIGDALA project.
We expect to run 4 workshops as well as some consultations over the course of 4 years:
- Possibility to attend to key workshops (1 per year, likely in Brussels)
