Successful workshop at CEPS in Brussels

On October 22, the AMIGDALA project, alongside the TRANSIENCE project, held a successful workshop at CEPS in Brussels in support of the transition to a circular and carbon-neutral economy, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal. The event emphasized the importance of strengthening the EU’s industrial competitiveness, a key priority for the European Commission. Among the major initiatives discussed were the Clean Industrial Deal, the Industrial Decarbonization Accelerator Act, and the Circular Economy Act.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders from policy, industry, research, and civil society to explore the dual transition toward a circular and low-carbon European industry. It featured keynote speeches from prominent figures at the European Commission, CEFIC, and A.SPIRE, followed by presentations on advanced modeling tools developed by both projects.

Participants engaged in breakout sessions that addressed political dynamics, technological challenges, business opportunities, and key uncertainties in the industrial transition. The event provided a platform for open dialogue, sharing insights, and identifying pathways to enhance EU industrial competitiveness and sustainability.

To continue engaging in these critical discussions, you can now register for the Community of Practice and collaborate on shaping the future of EU industrial competitiveness.
