AMIGDALA Project Participation in ENEA’s Sustainability Session at Hydrogen Arena
On March 6, 2025, the AMIGDALA project actively contributed to the discussion on sustainability in energy technologies during a session organized by ENEA at the Hydrogen Arena, as part of KEY – The Energy Transition Expo, which ran at Rimini Expo Centre from March 5-7, 2025. This event, chaired by Alessandro Agostini and Giuseppe Pellegrini Masini, explored the environmental, economic, and social impacts of renewable fuels of non-biological origin in the transition to a zero-emission energy system.
A diverse panel of experts, including policymakers, researchers, and industry representatives, discussed key legislative frameworks and measures needed for the large-scale deployment of hydrogen and other non-biological energy carriers.
As part of the EU projects segment, Livio De Chicchis from ENEA presented the AMIGDALA project’s role in advancing circular, climate-neutral, and competitive industries. This aligned with other notable projects such as Biomethaverse, HyPEF, and NHyRA, which focused on innovative synthetic methane production, hydrogen environmental footprints, and hydrogen emissions, respectively.
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion, ensuring a comprehensive examination of RFNBO sustainability from multiple perspectives.
