Policy Lab partners with the AMIGDALA project to support Europe’s transition to sustainable and resilient industries
We are pleased to welcome Policy Lab as the newest partner in the AMIGDALA project, an initiative modelling decarbonization pathways for Europe’s energy-intensive industries.
Policy Lab is a private research centre specializing in big data science for global trade strategies and economic development. Their team of economists and data scientists brings valuable expertise in export promotion, economic resilience, and supply chain strategy. ‘Policy Lab contributes comprehensive predictive modelling of international trade. This helps refine integrated models that reveal the relationships between trade, industrial production, energy use, and resource flows, offering crucial insights into industrial transformation,’ says Marek Tiits, Partner at Policy Lab.
As part of AMIGDALA, Policy Lab will contribute to scenario modelling and market foresight tools, helping the consortium explore transformative solutions and anticipate system-wide changes. These insights will support EU and national policymakers in aligning industrial innovation and infrastructure investment with the EU’s climate neutrality targets.
